Plagne Soleil was built in the 1990s. There is a mixture of self-catering apartments as well as catered and self-catered ski chalets.
Plagne Soleil Ski & Snowboard Access: Plagne Soleil offers genuine doorstep skiing. There is a blue run down to the Melezes chairlift which carries you back over the village and allows acces to Plagne Bellecote and beyond. To ski to Plagne Centre either take the same blue run and catch the Boulevard chairlift or use the St Esprit draglift from just 50m below Plagne Soleil. There is a guide to the individual ski runs in our “Skiing in La Plagne” section.
Plagne Soleil Accommodation: There is a large selection of self-catering apartments. There are a few catered and self-catering ski chalets just above the village, these are great for doorstep skiing but do not offer the same quality of accommodation as those in Plagne 1800 or the lower altitude villages.
Plagne Soleil Apres Ski: Nightlife is very limited, it revovles around the popular Monica pub. There are four restaurants including a pizzeria.
The only shop other than the ski hire shops is a small supermarket.
For a touch of relaxation after a day of skiing or snowboarding around la Plagne there are a couple of mobile massage service operating in the resort. Massage Me therapists will come to your ski chalet to provide that extra bit of holiday pampering that you are after, or Pamper Off Piste are great for mobile physiotheraphy, osteopathy, massage and beauty services in the comfort of your chalet or holiday accommodation.
