Thanks Ross,
Any comments like this can really help others. Thinking about the runs down from Plagne Soleil I reckon that some of them might be a bit daunting for beginners. We would usually recommend Plagne Centre, Belle Plagne, Aime la Plagne and Plagne 1800.
just come back from la plagne soleil snow was good and appt was ok but if you are a begginer dont stop at soleil as it as no green slopes and to get to the only gren slope its a bus ride and then a ski lift and a 10 min walk so if a beginer stop at the village it-self which is good be warned the blue slopes are steep too
Hi Jane,
Plagne Centre seems to be best for local childcare: although at that age they might want to ski all the time. In Plagne Centre Oxygene seems to have a better reputation than the ESF for dealing with kids. There are also nurseries for children as young as 3 months, however places are limited – one phone number we have found is 0033 4.79.09.00.83 to book.
For an apartment we have now added a link through to our search facility – this will actually take you to all apartments in La Plagne.
Hope this helps.
Hi. We are a family of 4 (kids, 4 & 7)who want to book a week in a self catering apartment arriving 26th Dec. We will need to park as we will be driving to the resort. Ideally we would like the option of childcare at a nursery or simiar which we could pay for locally. can you help?
